The end of First Grade!

On June 2nd, Claire finished first grade. They had a fun luau themed party to celebrate!

Here is Claire with her teacher Mrs. Kissamis. She taught math and science. We LOVED her and pray we get another great teacher for 2nd grade!

Claire's switch teacher was Ms. Hamilton. She taught reading and writing. Claire really enjoyed having her in the afternoons and has excelled in reading. She is reading at a 3rd to 4th grade level!

 Here we have Karsen, Taylor P, Kenzie, Addisyn, and Claire. These girls hung out together a lot during the school year.

We got to spend the evening with these lovely people. We are so blessed to have Me Maw and Paw Paw in our lives! They have been such a wonderful support for us and have become a part of our family!

Thankful for wonderful friends!

We were blessed to spend Memorial Day with some great friends! The weather was perfect and the pool was put to good use today!

Fun in the sun with Karsen

Claire had her good friend Karsen over on Saturday to swim. These two swam hard from 4pm until 7:30pm! Of course they were exhausted and it was early to bed for these two!

A Super Fun Weekend with Friends!

We were blessed with a wonderful weekend with friends. Saturday evening we had the Moore family over to swim and grill. The weather didn't cooperate for very long so we ended up indoors playing games. Claire, Jackson and Emily had a great time. 

 Today we got to have lunch with some very good friends Ava and Marley! We have known them since before Claire was born and are lucky to still get to see them once in a while!

Then Claire had her friend Addisyn over to swim. Again the weather didn't cooperate but the girls did get 40 minutes in the pool before the storms rolled in.

 We even got Daddy into the pool for a short swim before calling it a day!

Pool time has arrived!

Claire had math testing this week and scored 96%! We are so very proud of her! As a special surprise after school today we got to jump in the pool for an hour of fun in the sun!

 Claire loves to ride her dolphin, whom she named Tuc-Tuc!

 Me-Maw had given us a pot of carrot seeds she had planted a while back. Claire was curious and had to check out what was growing under the dirt! A baby carrot!
