Spring break- Naples Florida- gator airboat and sunset at the beach

We went on an airboat ride to search for alligators. We saw a few on the journey!

The ride through the marsh was so cool!

After the ride, we got to enjoy a gator show and then actually hold the alligator!

Then we went back to Vanderbilt beach for sunset. It was so beautiful!

Thank you Brandon and Annie for hosting all of us this spring break! We had a blast and made so many wonderful memories!

 

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo- Luke Bryan concert

We had a great time at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! We put on about 11 miles in walking and ended up getting rained on, but overall it was a great afternoon and evening!

We found lots of fun photo opportunities!

We also went on many different rides...

and Jeff and Claire played a game as well.

Then we went inside to watch the rodeo...it was the first one Grandma and Shannon have seen in person!

Luke Bryan did a wonderful concert! 

Even though we were in the nosebleed section, we still made it a great evening and had lots of fun!

 

Time with Grandma and Shannon

We got to enjoy 3 weeks with Grandma and Shannon here! Lots of fun was had. The dogs got in way too many walks!

My cousin Jill came from Frisco to visit for the weekend. A few drinks were had....

and lots of time spent in the hot tub!

Lunch at Hop Doddy before she headed back home. It was so great to spend the weekend catching up!

Claire and Grandma found a baby turtle on their walk and returned him to the pond.

Claire has officially passed up Grandma and Shannon for height!

Grandma got an in-home manicure...it didn't go so well!

Lots of time spent working on puzzles and dot art (Grandma's new favorite thing to do)

A little bit of Perfection was played and we all jumped every time the buzzer went of, even though we knew it was coming!

Of course, there was some cooking together and baking together!

We got to get Grandma and Shannon out on Lake Conroe for an afternoon of pontooning and looking at the homes. Claire was brave and even got into the water on the tube! I stayed in my sweatshirt!

While waiting for food at Papas, Grandma and Claire got a little wild and crazy!

Finally, Shannon convinced us to get into the cold pool. Once the body parts that were in the water got numb, it wasn't so bad and we enjoyed some time relaxing and getting some vitamin D!
