Spring Break Part 1

We were blessed to have all of the cousins together at our house for the week of spring break. Ellie arrived Saturday evening along with Owen and four of his college friends. Harvey and Henry came in on Tuesday. It was so much fun to all be together and to have this past week to make so many wonderful memories!

Lots of pickle ball was played...or sort of played during the week!

The hot tub was put to good use, especially by Ellie!

We all spent lots of time around the dining room table eating and playing games, including Secret Hitler, Skyjo, Code Names, and Spicy Uno!
We also played lots of cards on the living room floor as well!

Some of the kids were crazy enough to get in the pool and even played basketball while in there! Not sure how they didn't turn blue from the cold water!
I often found Claire and Ellie like this on the small couch. One would think we only have one piece of furniture in the living room!
On Tuesday, I got to pick up Harvey and Henry from the airport!

So fun to have the cousins all together. No matter how long it is between them seeing each other, they always seem to jump right in and act like they hang out every day. So blessed to have such a close knit family!

Spring Break part 2- Boat days!

We were able to get out on the lake two days while everyone was here. It was chilly but the kids were troopers and jumped in to enjoy some water sports!

Tubing was a big hit with everyone and Jeff had a blast trying to get the kids to fall off!

Wake surfing was definitely the boys favorite activity. They both got up super easy and did amazing!
They also both took some tumbles into the water!

The boys got to enjoy a second day of boating with Owen and his friends. I think it was a great couple of days for everyone!

Spring Break Part 3

We took the entire clan out for Gringo's Tex Mex Thursday evening. Lots of wonderful conversation and too much eating!

When we got back home, Owen had us all try his vanilla ice cream with warm applesauce on top for dessert. I have to admit, it was actually pretty tasty!
Owen's group left on Friday morning. Friday afternoon, we took the boys golfing. It was so great to see them in their element and they both had so much fun golfing with Jeff!

Then when we returned home, they just had to show the girls some attention...this is how it went down for about 5-8 minutes!

The kids enjoyed a few games of corn hole before we went to lunch on Saturday.

Texas Roadhouse was the request so we went and loaded up on their amazing rolls and food!

Then came home to an Oreo ice cream bar for dessert...because of course, the kids were still hungry somehow!

We ended the day playing more pickle ball...
playing more Code Names...
and having a little bonfire!

Sunday morning we had pancake casserole, the girls went to church while Jeff and I took the boys to the airport. What a wonderful week absolutely full of amazing memories and lots of laughs! Feeling so blessed to have been able to share this week with my niece and nephews! God is so good!
