Fun with Grandma and Grandpa!

Trying to smile!

 Claire was very busy the other day making sure all of her babies had a sippy cup, a fork, and a spoon. Mommy had to get a bit creative to find enough sippy cups but we made it. Daddy came home from work and was pretty surprised at what he found taking over the kitchen!

 We did our family pictures a few days ago. I got Claire dressed and while we were waiting to leave, I worked hard on getting her to practice her smile. It was a challenge but I managed to get a few smiles before she told me to stop!

 Claire loves puzzles and we usually do at least 10-15 puzzles per day!

 I started to wash dishes today when I heard the all too common phrase "Mommy I want to help". I pulled up a chair, washed all the glass dishes, and then let Claire take over. She became so engaged in making sure all of the dishes were clean.

 After washing all of the dishes, Claire made sure to let me know that she wanted to dry them also, and of course she wanted to dry them by herself. I was not sure she would do much with wiping them, but to my surprise she dried each dish almost completely.

 Claire then started to stack the dishes in a very similar way that Mommy does. Wonder where she learned that?!

Claire concentrated so hard on each dish as she washed and then dried them. She was determined to do a good job and she succeeded! Who knew I had such a great helper by my side all along. If only her desire to help with household chores lasted forever!

My new friend "Woogie"

Claire and I went to the park today. Shortly after we arrived, she found a toy frog that some child had forgotten at the park. She quickly became attached to the frog and took it everywhere with her. At one point she turned to me and said "Mommy, I want to name him Woogie". So Woogie it was. Woggie went on every single slide and climbing thing that Claire went on. It was fun to watch her make sure Woggie was on the swing safely before she started to push him. It was also fun to watch Claire climb on many different things that just a few months ago she was very hesitant to climb on. Our girl is growing way too fast.
We are looking forward to Grandma and Grandpa's arrival in just over a week. In almost all that Claire does, she mentions Grandma and Grandpa. She is excited to "teach" them how to put together her many puzzles and she can't wait to show them how good she can swim! See y'all soon!
