Claire's Centers

Welcome to Claire's Centers. This is preschool outside with her babies

and animals.

 We started by drawing two circles by each animal/baby. Claire told me what each one

wanted to do at their center. We had gumballs, shapes, numbers, rainbows, hearts, flowers, mulch, 

grass, and leaves. These items went in one circle and the animal/baby had the job of copying

the item into the other circle with the teacher's help of course!

 Here Claire is helping Jophie make her gumballs.

 And here she is helping "Blondie" do her shapes.

Finally, after all of the hard work at centers, each baby/animal was placed onto a

sleep mat for naptime. The teacher then had to go to each one and pat them on their

tummy to help them go to sleep.

This game was all Claire's idea. I am sure many of the activities she starts come from what she is learning at school, but her creativity just amazes me. She is very particular about how things are done and I love watching her talk to her "kids"! I am so in love with this kiddo!

Baker Claire!

 We are all prepared to start baking. First we needed to get our apron and

baker's hat on. Thank you to Me Maw for getting this adorable hat for

Claire!

 After we collected all of the ingredients, we start the mixing process.

 Measuring all of the ingredients is hard work but Claire is up

for the challenge!

She has done an excellent job measuring the flour. The final product is

M&M Walnut Oatmeal cookies...yummy!



Our fun week!

 We all got to enjoy watching Despicable Me 2 the other evening. Fun times!

 Yesterday we went to a bounce house.  She made a friend there and it was

                       so fun watching the two girls run around and play together! Claire had a blast
 and I had to convince her to leave after almost 2 hours of playing!

 

Going to see some big trucks!

Jeff and Claire were able to go to the emergency vehicle show this past weekend. Claire got to see and go inside a fire truck and police car! She had so much fun with her Daddy, getting spoiled like always!

Preschool time!

 

G-Ma and Snuggle Bunny are at "preschool" in centers.

 After centers it was nap time. Here Claire is rubbing her "students" back.

 Snuggle Bunny's arm got away from him and grabbed his "teacher"!

 Finally, the "teacher" got her kids to sleep!

Soccer can get competitive, especially when G-Ma is playing!

 

Claire and G-Ma decided to play an innocent game of soccer...

G-Ma got pretty involved and focused on getting the ball. 

 As you can see, the game became pretty competitive!

Here, G-Ma is going in for a steal!

 After a good game of soccer, the two girls decided it was time to dance.

 It warms my heart watching my two favorite ladies having fun together!

Valentine's day fun!

Claire was lucky to have 2 Valentine's day parties this year. She had fun gathering lots and lots and lots of candy which we now have to ration at home! She has a gallon size bag FULL which will probably last until next year Valentine's day!

First we need to cut open the cake mix...

 then we pour it into the bowl.

 Next we add club soda (to keep it a bit healthier!)

 and Grandpa carefully fills the cupcake wrappers.

 Finally, we get to frost them after they are done baking. This is 

Claire's favorite part, other than eating them!

 Working on sentences with Snuggle Bunny and the rest of

the family! So good to see Grandpa smiling (we love those

days!)

 Jeff took Claire to Home Depot for kids craft day. Claire got to build

her own race car! As you can see, she has inherited the trait of 

sticking her tongue out when she is concentrating!

 Claire and G-Ma reading books. They don't always get along well

so this is nice to see.
