Loving our time with Grandpa!

As you can tell, Claire is super excited to have her Grandpa back! We are so blessed that he is feeling so well and is able to tolerate our little girl with her large amount of energy! We had a wonderful day today and are praying for good lab results tomorrow.

to brag on how beautiful our little girl is!

Me-Maw and Paw-Paw play Perfection!

Claire always has fun when going to see Me-Maw and Paw-Paw! I think it is because she gets to control their time together and she gets spoiled rotten! She wanted to bring over Perfection so she got to teach them how to play and had a blast watching them jump when the buzzer went off and the pieces flew out of the box! We are so very blessed to have these two amazing people in our lives!

Always busy!

 After a busy day, Claire likes to cuddle on the couch and

watch a show before bed.

 Claire loves to play at the park. Thankfully there are

many around to choose from!

 We are working on getting Claire to stop sucking her thumb. We decided to do a

chart. If she goes all day long without sucking her thumb, she gets a sticker and after

5 stickers, she gets to pick a cool place to go. After going one entire day without

sucking her thumb even one time, she got an ice cream cone. To my surprise, she has

done super amazing and has now gone 5 days without sucking her thumb (except at

night which we will be tackling next!). So tomorrow we are going to ITZ after church

(similar to Chuck E Cheese but geared for a bit older children). Claire has impressed me

yet once again!

And, here is my crazy family! Gotta love having fun and being a kid!

Taking care of my babies

Claire has been very in to her babies lately. She takes very good care

of them (when she isn't dropping them or hitting their head on the

wall!)

 Claire likes to take her babies outside to swing and to play on the

trampoline.

 Claire has already mastered the skill of multi-tasking!

 After swinging, it is time to go down the slide!

Finally, we need to take the baby for a walk to get the mail.

Never a dull moment when you have babies to take care of!

Saying goodbye to our dear Presley

We had to put Presley to sleep on Wednesday, March 19th. She was just over 14 years old and was having seizures. I couldn't stand to watch her suffer any longer. My heart aches and I miss her dearly. I got Presley when she was just 3 months old on April 28, 2000. It feels like I am missing a piece of me and it will be a long time before I don't think about where she is located when I am leaving the house and about giving her a treat before I walk out the door. I feel better knowing she is not suffering any longer, but I sure do miss my puppy. Claire is doing well with the transition thankfully.

Ice skating

Ice Skating by myself!

Today we took Claire ice skating. This was only the third time in her life that she has been in ice skates and she did amazing. After some hesitation, we got Claire to give up the walker and try skating by holding onto our hands. Then after some more hesitation, we had her try skating without holding our hands. Before we knew it, Claire was wanting to skate alone and just have us next to her for help if she needed. She saw her friend Brynn from school there and the two of them spent lots of time skating together. This child never ceases to amaze me!

 Claire loves to grocery shop. She is so good at it, pretty soon I will be able

to just give her the list and money and let her go shop alone!

 Claire wanted to pretend she was a baby at the park. So, we managed to fit

her into this baby swing. It was a challenge getting her out but we had fun!

 Claire loves to help with cleaning house. Lucky Mom!

She did a great job vacuuming.

 We are going for a car ride and behind Claire you see the

carseat for her babies, equipped with safety bar!

Claire had Rodeo day at school on Tuesday. To my surprise,

she actually wore her cowboy hat all day!



Fun with friends!

 Claire got to spend time with her friend Madison at the park the other day

in the beautiful weather!

Our friends came over for dinner the other night and Claire

had a blast playing with Raleigh and Emery!

My silly Grandpa!

Last night we went out to dinner to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa, since they are heading home tomorrow. Claire and Grandpa were in a silly mood so of course I had to capture the moment!

It just warms my heart to be able to see Dad smiling, joking, and laughing again.  God has really blessed our family with this clinical trial! God has also helped Grandpa and Grandma get ready for heading north since yesterday was only in the 40's and last night into today we got freezing rain and the high today is low 30's. At least going to MN won't be quite as much of a shock to their systems after these past 2 days! We will miss them but get to see them again in 9 days.
