It's pool time!

 Yesterday we were able to brave the pool for the first time this season.

It was chilly at first but we quickly got use to it! Grandma even 

put her feet in for a little bit!

 As you can see, our little girl is not afraid of the cool water!

She had a blast doing all kinds of jumps into the pool.

Mom was even crazy enough to jump in a few times! It is going to be a summer

filled with swimming I have a feeling!

Strong willed little girl!

 Daddy is getting a pedicure! If you notice, while Claire is working on his left foot, his right foot is under the dryer!

 Today the babies had school on the driveway. Here they are taking their naps on sleep mats while their "teacher", Ms Claire, rubs their backs.

 Little Ms Claire likes to pick out her entire outfit every day. To my surprise, she kept her boots on all day at preschool!

A little treat after school on a very warm day. Of course the ice cream was topped with Claire's favorites of gummie bears and sprinkles!

Claire had a great time dying Easter eggs this year. She was very interested in making some cool color patterns. This bottom picture is our beautiful girl all dressed up and ready for church on Easter morning (great job Daddy getting her ready!)

Florida Vacation 2014

We had an amazing time in Florida with our family, all 13 of us! It was so much fun spending time together and making some wonderful memories. We spent one day at the beach, two days at Magic Kingdom, one day at Downtown Disney, and one day just relaxing and swimming at the resort. Despite having so many people together and a busy schedule, we made it through with only a few meltdowns from the little ones and only one moment of indecision on where to eat dinner. After all of the ups and downs of this past year, it was nice to leave it all behind and just enjoy our time together. Looking forward to our next adventure as a group; hopefully it will consist of less waiting in long lines!

No more sucking my thumb!

Before leaving for Florida last week, I went with Mommy to get my nails done. It was a special treat for me and a way to encourage me to stop sucking my thumb. The lady gave me rainbow colored nails like I asked and she even put white flowers on my thumbs without me asking. She must have known that I was trying to stop sucking my thumb! Well, it worked. Since Thursday, April 3rd I have not sucked my thumb! Mommy puts bandaids on my thumbs at night so that I don't accidentally put them into my mouth. When we got home from our Florida trip, I got to rearrange my bedroom as a special treat for doing so well! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of how good I have done with kicking this habit!
