Preschool Graduation at Goddard School

Claire had her first preschool graduation ceremony today at Goddard School.

We are so very proud of how far our daughter has come since the first day of

school. She has made many new friends including Brynn and Hayden and has

definitely come out of her shy shell! We still can't believe kindergarten is just

around the corner. Tonight Claire has graduation at WeeWuns, her other

preschool. Looking forward to the pictures Daddy sends me from

that ceremony as well! A huge thank you to MeMaw and PawPaw for

going to see Claire graduate and celebrate this special time with her!

First time "camping"

Saturday evening we decided to set up the tent in the backyard to try "camping" and see how it would go. Claire thought it was super fun to sleep outside. We didn't really rough it as you can see. We had air mattresses to sleep on and even had to run an extension cord into the tent to have our fan going for background noise. Mom and Dad woke up with sore backs but Claire seemed to love it! I have a feeling we have a future camper on our hands.

It's wrestle time!

Claire just loves to wrestle with her Daddy! As you can see from the pictures, her Daddy

likes it too! Hope he can keep up with her tricks!

Always busy!

 We signed Claire up for gymnastics for the summer and she got to pick out her

leotard for classes. She tried it on and wouldn't take it off!

 Claire's preschool did Muffins with Mom to celebrate Mother's Day. 

Luckily I was able to bring Claire to school this day and got to spend a little

extra time with her in the morning.

 Grandma and Grandpa brought down some of Mommy's old Barbie toys this trip.

Claire has had a blast (and so has Mommy!) playing with the "new" toys!

 Claire loves to take her baby for walks around the pond. Since it will be getting too

warm soon to do this, Claire got this stroller as an early birthday present.

She had been using her big stroller which she couldn't see over the top of. This 

one works so much better!

Enjoying every day

 We have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather God is blessing us with

lately. We spend much time outside going for walks (and rides!).

 We were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner outside on the deck. We had Grandpa's famous potato salad, bratwurst, sweet corn, and a super delicious watermelon! Summertime is here!

Claire and G-Ma made cupcakes this morning. Claire got to frost them all by herself

and put the first letter of each persons name on top so we all know which cupcake is ours.

"I wanna do it"

Claire has been very interested in doing all of the household chores for a while now. Yesterday, she wanted to vacuum out the car instead of play while mom did the vacuuming. She did an excellent job and seemed to enjoy being such a big helper. I only wish this desire do to work around the house would continue for the next 15 years!
