Our Minnesota trip 2015

We got to spend 2 weeks in MN this summer and we had a blast! We were able to hang out with wonderful friends, spend 4 days at Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells, visit with Grandpa, Grandma, and Great Grandpa Naustdal where Claire taught them how to play the card game of golf and won, go to Amazin' Farm, hit the rides at the Mall of America, and best of all enjoy the beautiful lake and all it has to offer without sweating the moment we stepped outside! God has blessed us with amazing family and friends and we treasure each and every memory we made on this trip. I apologize for the lengthy video but we had too many great pictures this time! A huge thank you to my mom who gave us a place to stay, allowed us all to spend the time together at Wisconsin Dells, and put up with the chaos that 12-16 people in a small cabin can bring! We are so very grateful!

First day of 1st grade!

Wow! I cannot believe we have a 1st grader already! It seems like just

yesterday we brought Claire home from the hospital. People always told me that 

once you have children, time goes by even faster. I have to agree that this statement is 

true. If only there were more hours to each day...

Claire didn't get to meet her teacher because we were still in Minnesota. She was super

excited to meet Mrs. Kissamis and to see her friends Addisyn and Karsen who 

are both in her class again this year!

This morning I asked Claire some questions and here are her answers:

What is your favorite color? ORANGE

What do you want to be when you grow up? A VETERINARIAN

What is your favorite food? CUPCAKES AND GOLDFISH CRACKERS

What is your favorite activity? GYMNASTICS, TAP DANCING, AND SWIMMING

What is your favorite class in school? SCIENCE, MATH, GYM, AND LUNCH

Who are you most excited to see when you get to 1st grade? MY TEACHER, KARSEN, ADDISYN, AND AVA.

 Claire had a wonderful first day of 1st grade. She loves her teacher and said her favorite

part of the day was doing math. That's my girl. She has a front row seat in her classroom

and likes math!

With today being the last day before Claire starts 1st grade, we made sure to

make it a special and fun day. Jeff and I both got our turns on the dolphin. Staying

on is much harder than it looks!

We cannot believe tomorrow Claire will officially be a 1st grader! We had such a fun time

in MN (slideshow to come when I have time to put it together) and the summer

definitely went by too fast. Excited to watch Claire continue to grow throughout the 

school year!
