Fun with friends and a dog!

Claire had her friend Elliot over yesterday to play. Jeff and I were instructed to stay inside the play room. When we were allowed out, this is what we walked in to. The kids had set up a store and were ready to have us come shopping!

 Both Claire and Elliot are missing one of their top front teeth!

She FINALLY has a hole in her mouth!

When I picked Claire up from school on Friday, I got a big surprise. She told me that her tooth was bothering her and it was hard for her to eat. When she opened her mouth, her front tooth (which had been loose for a while) was just hanging. Mom was a little grossed out which Claire got a kick out of!

 When we got home, she used a tissue to try to pull it out. She wasn't able to do it so Mom gave a gentle pull and it fell right out!

 Since her baby teeth on the bottom didn't fall out until her permanent ones had already grown in, Claire has never had a hole from losing a tooth. Well, she has one now and is loving it!

First day of 2nd grade- August 22, 2016

Claire was so excited to start 2nd grade. She was in a class without her two best friends and we thought this would be tough for her. Instead, she pleasantly surprised us by telling us that this would be a good chance for her to make new friends. I love the big heart this amazing girl has!

Our trip to Minnesota part 2

A huge thank you to everyone who took time off of work and time away from their everyday routine to hang out with us. This vacation was amazing because of the wonderful people we got to share it with! I can't wait to do it all over again next year!

Our trip to Minnesota part 1

We had an amazing trip to Minnesota this year. The weather was awesome and we got to spend a lot of time on the lake. We even had a family reunion where almost all of our relatives showed up for the day. Many great memories were made! We are so very blessed to have wonderful family and friends in Minnesota!
