Jellystone Park...a family tradition!

We had so much fun this weekend camping at Jellystone park! It has become a tradition for our family and this is the 4th year we have gone. We have two other families we camp with and every year has been so much fun! So thankful for beautiful weather and wonderful company!

This was our first year to hit the mini golf course.

Poor Claire! Her parents are so weird!!!

We call it camping but it really is glorified camping...we sleep in a tent but have fans running, an air bed to sleep on and a cot for Claire, a waterpark with big slides and a lazy river (my favorite part!), activities planned almost hourly for the kids and families to do, and super clean bathroom and showers. So, I think Claire would be pretty disappointed if we went camping anywhere else!

We spent almost the entire day at the waterpark yesterday. I love how well these kids all get along and love watching them play together!
Claire taking a flying plunge into the lazy river!

Can't forget to plant the "magic" pumpkin seeds! We plant them and a few hours later go back and a pumpkin has grown and is ready for picking! Then we go to the activity center and paint them.
This time of year the park is all decked out for Halloween, including haunted houses. We passed on the haunted house this year but did partake in going trick-or-treating and then watched Hotel Transylvania 2 on the outdoor movie screen. It was a wonderful weekend and many great memories were added! Hoping we can continue to keep up this yearly tradition!

An awesome day to spend in the pool!

Since we are still running temperatures in the low 100's the only way to tolerate being outside is by hanging out in the pool. We had the evening free last night and took advantage of it by having some fun family time together being silly in the pool!

Leave it to Claire to add some silly to her photo!

We had so much fun trying to get onto each others shoulders and get some pictures! As you can see, it took some practice!
Finally we were able to get a good shot!
I love this picture! Jeff wanted to get one of us kissing Claire on her cheeks. Of course she said "No"! Well, we did our best and tried to get one, and then we laughed and got back to playing!

Happy birthday in Heaven Snuggle Bunny!

Friday was Snuggle Bunny's birthday, he would have been 72. We miss his silly jokes, his caring heart, and his awesome hugs every single day. Life just isn't the same without him here but somehow we keep moving on. In our house we talk about him almost daily and I love that Claire remembers so many things about Snuggle Bunny. We definitely keep him alive in our hearts!
Every year we write a message to Snuggle Bunny on balloons and do a balloon release to celebrate him.
Claire had no problem filling up her balloon with what she wanted to tell him.

This year we were able to Facetime with Grandma and Uncle Brandon and we all released balloons together.
It was very cool to watch the balloon stay all in one group until we couldn't see them any longer. Wonder how far they got?

The Three Amigos!

Claire had her two besties over to swim last weekend. I got these fun pics of the girls jumping into the pool together.
Let's count to three and then run and jump...
 Here we go!
 Close to going in!
 Jump girls!
 And in they go!
