The Naustdal Christmas...so many blessings!
We started the day by singing Happy Birthday to Jesus by the cake Claire made for Jesus (a tradition we have done every year since Claire was born)!
Claire and her cousins drew names for gifts this year. Her cousin Owen had her name and came through with her wish...she got the burrito blanket she so badly wanted!
Claire made an adorable ornament for Jeff in class this year!
Who needs gifts when you have a big box? Claire had a blast acting out things with this box...she never ceases to make me laugh!
What to do on Christmas when it is just the three of us? Get into the hot tub and relax of course!
Eddie worked hard to get Claire the gifts he thought she would use and like. Here Claire is opening a gift from Eddie...a swim cap with a hole cut in it for her ponytail! She got a kick out of it at first, until she realize what is truly was!
Claire was super excited to get the swim bag she so badly wanted!
Claire got me a coffee mug that has the qualities of a mother on them...super sweet! I can pull it out in the years to come to remind her that she once thought I was all of the things on the mug!
The big gift Claire wanted! She was super excited to get a hoverboard and has already put on over 3 miles in less than 24 hours!
Claire was so excited to give Jeff this gift. She picked out this picture frame and we put a photo of the two of them in it from our trip to the Grand Canyon.
Eddie, Eddie, Eddie....
Our elf, Eddie returned this year but in a bit of a different fashion! He came trapped in a vase with a mask on and a blue box to record everything and send to Santa. His note said he had to kwrenteen (quarantine) for 3 days!
Probably the grossest thing he did this year!
He ended in style by loading our tree with masks and using one to swing in! It was a fun year and he even brought a few gifts for Claire!
It's Christmas time!
It is a tradition in our home to make Snugglebunny's famous mint sugar cookie cutouts every Christmas. Claire and worked hard to get some great tasting cookies!
Snugglebunny would always catch our noses and cover them in flour while we baked, so we have continued that tradition as well!
Since COVID is on the rise, we decided to do a drive through Christmas light show this year We went to Rudolph's light show in Hockley and it did not disappoint.
Claire had her very first band concert and got her instrument group (Euphoniums and Tubas) played
B-I-N-G-O and Jingle Bells! They sounded amazing for a first year band!

Zion National Park
We are blessed to go on a trip over the week of Thanksgiving. We flew into Vegas and drove to Zion National Park as our first stop. From there we hit Bryce National Park, The Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and the Grand Canyon and Skywalk. This was such an amazing trip and we had so much fun taking in all of God's amazing work! Zion was beyond words. It was my favorite park to visit and the hiking here was just stunning. Oftentimes, Jeff and Claire would have to wait for me because almost every 50 feet I wanted to get a picture! I would love to go back to this park and spend more time here someday!
