Random January photos

As Claire is nearing the teenage years (sigh....), it is harder and harder to get photos. I try my best! Claire let me take a picture of her and MamaLu while we were playing a game at their house. Funny fact...Claire has not passed up MamaLu for height and is officially taller than MamaLu!

Claire has asked for a huge beanbag for a few years now for Christmas. This year she finally got her wish! The dogs and her mother spend more time on it than she does but I am sure that will change soon!

Claire made it to the finals in her last swim meet. It meant for very long days since she had warmup at 7:15am, swam at 10am until noonish, then had to return at 5pm for another warmup to swim from 7pm until 9pm on both Saturday and Sunday. She did well and it was worth the long days!

Claire has found some very interesting ways to eat food lately. In the picture above, she cut her hotdog the long way and put it between two pieces of bread. She said that her Grandma Rachel taught her how to do this! Below, she decided it easiest to drink her applesauce from a straw so she could continue playing cards without any interruptions to eat!

Claire had a fun time at her friend Averi's birthday party at the roller skating rink. Good thing there were no broken bones!
