Top Golf with the family

Ever since Claire went to Top Golf with her friends, she has wanted to go back. It was the perfect day to do this yesterday. Jeff tried to give Claire advice on how to hit, but being a teenager, Claire wanted to do things her own way!

Jeff came out the winner and couldn't contain his excitement!

Claire tried her best but Jeff was able to keep his #1 up for all the pictures! Love these two so much!

 

So much time around the pond!

These two share such a special bond. They are either picking on each other or laughing so hard their stomach hurts! I will treasure this time with Mom forever! We have had such a great few weeks together! Below, Claire is trying to convince Grandma to let her put on Grandma's ear wrap....

this is how it ended up before Grandma said "enough" and decided it was better to put it on herself!

We tried to feed the ducks but they were not very interested...maybe it was too cold for them to want to move off their warm spots!

On a warmer day, we went to feed the turtles and they were more interested in the goldfish we had to offer!

Claire and Grandma pulled up some videos on how to make items out of yarn. It took many replays and lots of patience but Claire was able to make a star....

and a broomstick!

Grandma and I were more challenged so we were only able to complete the task of making the broomstick (after many attempts that is!)

 

Final pottery results

We got to go pick up our plates from the pottery class we had on Feb 4th with Grandma, Shannon, and Ellie. They all turned out so cool and unique!

Then the three of us are each holding the plate we made and decorated. This was such a fun thing to do together!

We all enjoyed our time with Shannon these past 2 weeks. We did lots of eating!

We spent LOTS of time in the hot tub!

When the weather was warm enough, we spent time outside going for walks and playing cards.

We played a lot of Mexican Train with dominoes! 

More hot tub fun! I think next year Auntie Shannon hopes to come for an entire month! We will miss her!

 

Cotillion night- Western theme

Claire had her cotillion dance night and got to dress in Western wear. 

Claire, Abigail, Annalee, and Caroline...all decked out for Western night!

 

Fun with Ellie!

We took Ellie, Shannon, and Grandma to the Bake Shoppe for lunch. Everyone loved the food, especially the bread! We had to cave and buy a huge homemade Ding Dong...it was very good!

Claire and Ellie had lots of fun together...they were either laughing or tackling each other!
