Last warm weekend for boating for a while

We were blessed with a beautiful day out on Lake Conroe yesterday. We got lots of water sports in during our 4 hours on the lake!

Jeff and Claire decided it would be a good idea to try boogie boarding in the wake behind the boat….Claire is always up for an adventure, so she volunteered to give it a try!

Claire had fun with the boogie board but I think she enjoys wake surfing much better!

Jeff and I even got up and did a little wake surfing!

Jeff is more daring and much better at wake surfing…he was very fun to watch!

Thankful for a wonderful afternoon as a family out on the lake! Definitely a happy place for the Naustdal family!

 

Claire qualifies for high school champs meet!

Claire had her second high school swim meet and rocked her 500 freestyle! She swam varsity level and came in first place by almost 9 seconds! She did awesome and got a qualifying time for the champs meet in November!

 

First high school swim meet!

Claire had her very first high school swim meet last night! She swam 50 free, 500 free, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay. She had lots of fun and is making new friends on the team! We are excited to see where God is going to take her this school year!

Maddie, Claire, and Abigail all swam in a relay together! It was fun to watch!

Claire is the third swimmer from the front of the screen and Abigail is the fourth. They both did really well in the 50 free!

 

Homecoming 2023

Claire had her first high school HOCO last weekend and had a great time. Some of the girls all met up to get some photos taken first, then 12 of them went out to dinner before heading to the dance. Turns out the dance wasn't that cool and they only stayed about an hour and a half, but overall the night was a success and full of fun!
