Friday evening Claire swam her 500 freestyle in the Regional Championship high school swim meet. She got her personal best time of 5:30.57! She was seated 18th going in and ended up 15th so she qualified for finals!
So proud of all of the hard work this girl has put into swim since she was 7 years old! The dedication has paid off and got her to the finals as a 9th grader!
Claire at finals last night! She is in the closest lane and is trying to tell her teammates on the sideline to stop embarrassing her and to be quiet! I love that her teammates were there to cheer her on, especially since she was the only 9th grader from her school to make it this far!
Claire finished the finals meet coming in 15th place. We are so proud of how well she swam and excited to see where God takes her from here!
