Christmas in Mexico part 1

 

We were blessed to get to spend Christmas in Riviera Maya, Mexico with our family this year. The only ones missing were Jeff and Bob. We had a great trip and many wonderful memories were made! Thank you Grandma for this opportunity to all be together! Claire had a blast with her cousins. It is so fun watching them...they act like they see each other every day (instead of maybe twice a year) and pick up right where they left off when they were last together!

Christmas in Mexico part 2

 We spent lots of time at the pools and beach. We were able to go on catamaran ride, snorkel, watch a dolphin show, do water aerobics, play mini golf, and relax! It was a great vacation!

So thankful to have another year to celebrate baby Jesus and the gift God gave us by sending us His only Son...brings tears to my eyes thinking of His sacrifice. God is so good! Merry Christmas everyone!

 

Christmas picture fun!

We met friends today to take some fun pictures and have lunch. It is nice to get a few pictures with my girl!

Christmas cookie making time!

Claire and I had a fun afternoon making Christmas cookies. We had to be sure to carry on the tradition that Snugglebunny started of putting flour on our noses while we bake! We also kept his tradition of adding mint extract to the dough to give our cutout cookies a hint of mint flavor! Love honoring Dad and sharing stories while we make his Christmas cut out cookies! I sure do treasure every moment I get to spend with Claire and remembering Dad!
