She makes me smile

It has been forever and a day since I put anything on the blog but I do have a really good excuse. I cut my finger and work and had to have surgery. Even though my left index finger is still numb, my doctor says that the nerve will regrow and the feeling will slowly return. I am working on gaining some mobility back since I haven't been able to move it for the last month. Sheila says I need to move my finger as much a possible so I thought a good therapy would be typing. Our little chatter box keeps us smiling constantly. Her questions, comments and phrases make Sheila and I look at eachother and just laugh. She has something to say about nearly everything we do. I was driving to the zoo today and Sheila called. I had her on the car's speaker system so Claire could hear her. Near the end of the conversation Sheila said "I'll let you go so you can pay attention to your driving". For the next ten minutes Claire asked me; "Daddy paying attention?" It is hard to drive when tears are coming down your face from laughing so hard. Hopefully when we go on vacation next month, Claire will have enough time to spend with everyone so she can get past her initial shyness and show off her true personality
