Here is a breakdown of Claire's 5th Birthday day:
When she woke, we had 5 donuts set up with candles lit in them. She was shy at first,
but was quickly convinced to blow out the fire! As you can see, she has a "friend" by her side.
This little highchair attaches to the table and I have a feeling her dolls or stuffed animals will be
accompanying each of our meals!
She got this doll from Grandma Hlavka. She has named her
Allison (at least she didn't name her Woodhead like one of her other
baby dolls!)
For lunch we met a friend at Chick Fil-A. Claire had fun playing
but had most fun putting ice cream on her nose!
After lunch we went bowling. Claire decided she was now too
old to use the ramp and ended up throwing the bowling ball
down the alley!
After bowling we came home to swim....
and as you can see, Claire loves the pool! She had to do some crazy
jumps for the camera!
From the pool we moved on to the trampoline and sprinkler.
It is so fun watching Claire be so happy in her own little world.
I hope she stays this happy forever!
After going out for birthday dinner, she got to open her presents from
Mom and Dad and a few more from Grandma. She loves all of the
presents she received and will be busy playing with them for a long time.
Are y'all exhausted from reading about our busy birthday day? I know Claire and I are
very tired after having so much fun! Thank you to all of the people who called today
and wished Claire a happy birthday. I know she especially loved it when Grandma
called and sang Happy Birthday to her at 7:30 this morning!
We are so very blessed that God has entrusted us with such an amazing child to raise.
Words cannot express just how much we adore and love this beautiful little girl!
We look forward to watching Claire grow this next year into an even more stunning child
of God!
